About The Bushwhacker Restaurant

We at the Bushwhacker proudly support our local community. Organic farming, sustainable seafood, etc… is extremely important to us all. We value being environmentally friendly.

In 1976, I migrated from the University of Montana School of Education to manage the Bushwhacker Restaurant. I hired a vivacious beauty, Julie, to be a waitress, fell in love - and two grown children later, here we are! With Julie's restaurant background, we have established a reputation as the place the locals go if they want an honest Seafood or Prime Rib dinner, Line-Caught Local Salmon, Fresh Crab and Halibut.

All the best locally available Seafood, Midwestern Corn-Fed Beef, Nightly Specials and Homemade Dessert. (I'm getting hungry writing this.) The Bushwhacker is the kind of place where the employees stay for a long time. Little turnover gives you better food and service.  I take much pride in my restaurant. I want you to feel like a guest in my home. Come eat, relax, enjoy and let us take care of you.
